  • Regardless of which side of the aisle, this is nothing more than the usual Washington pissing match, and the Americans are caught mid-stream every time. Their decisions very rarely have a negative effect on them; this is a dog and pony show performed for anyone that will watch.

  • The 14th amendment was NEVER intended for this purpose. It was so that children born from slaves would be granted citizenship.

  • The banks were mandated by our government to loan to the "less fortunate". The "less fortuante" had the responsibility to READ THE DOCUMENT. I'm so tired of the blame game!! People need to take personal responsibility. If you know you can't afford it, why are you trying to buy it?

  • Situations as this BP oil spill are tragic. BP has admitted responsibility. Still, there is no reason to penalize ALL oil companies by banning drilling of any kind. When the tragic collapse in a coal mine occurred earlier this year claiming 20+ lives, coal mining was not halted.
